Dartmoor View Lodges: 3 cosy cabins with stunning views
Dartmoor View Lodges offer a unique chance to stay in a really cosy, authentic log cabin with far reaching countryside views. The lodges are built from 8 inch pine logs, so they feel exceptionally warm and welcoming. Many guests choose Dartmoor View Lodges for the comfort of real log cabins and the quiet Devon setting.
There are three lodges to choose from, Bluebells, Buttercups and Brambles. Each offers clean, comfortable accommodation with views across miles of Devon countryside towards Dartmoor, which is around ten miles away. Dartmoor View Lodges are a great choice if you want peace, views, and an easy base for exploring Devon.
The accommodation has a three star rating from VisitEngland and is inspected regularly, which offers extra reassurance on quality standards. You can read more about the VisitEngland self catering scheme here: VisitEngland Self Catering Scheme.
All three lodges are south facing and have an undercover patio. You can park on your own driveway alongside your lodge, and you also have a garden area that is ideal for picnics or for children to play in. Each lodge is fully furnished for up to four people and is well placed for both the north and south coasts of Devon, plus the North Cornwall coast. Widemouth Bay is a popular favourite for beach days.

You can book a seven night holiday or take a short break. In Buttercups and Brambles, the single beds can convert into bunks, which means an additional bed can sometimes be arranged for a fifth person if required. There is a shower room with an electric shower and mains water, so pressure should not be a concern. Heaters are provided in all rooms, and there is a log burner in the living area for cosy evenings.
